What you'll learn:

  • How the lymphatic system works, why movement and breathing matter, and how to integrate lymphatic-aware practices into your yoga classes

  • How to apply Dr Perry Nickelston's "Big Six" lymphatic framework to intelligent movement and sequencing

  • How to use techniques including percussion, oscillation, isometrics and self-massage to explore lymphatic function within a yoga practice

  • How the vagus nerve communicates between the brain and body, and what it really means to support autonomic regulation

  • How breathing, movement, posture and internal sensation influence nervous system responses, including the role of interoception and cardiac vagal tone

  • How to distinguish established physiology from popular myths about the vagus nerve, lymphatic drainage and nervous system regulation

  • How pregnancy changes the body, including the core, pelvic floor, breathing mechanics and movement considerations across each trimester

  • How to adapt yoga practices for pregnant students in general classes, understanding important precautions, contraindications and the limits of your scope

KHALA

"What I love about this training is how it makes complex anatomy feel so accessible and relevant. The lymphatic system, vagus nerve and pre and postnatal anatomy are all areas I wanted to understand more deeply, and I've come away with so many practical insights I can use in my teaching. It really has changed the way I think about the body.”
